CP-Lab

▶ ACS330 Group Project - Siemens

Development of a Discrete Event Simulation Factory Twin, which utilises live Industrial IoT data captured from the Festo Cyber-Physical Lab. The focus lies on the CP Lab, an Industry 4.0 demonstration setup located in the University of Sheffield MindSphere space that manufactures a basic plastic case representing a mobile phone case or similar.

  • Working with industry-standard software (MindSphere, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation) and equipment
  • Familiarisation with formal meetings and presentations
  • Applying Industry 4.0 principles in practice
